New York, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's volleyball team dropped a three-set CUNYAC match (7-25, 14-25, 16-25) to hosts Baruch College on Thursday evening at the ARC Arena. The Lightning go to a 3-8 overall record and 1-2 in CUNYAC action, while the Bearcats improved to a 6-6 mark and 3-0 in conference play.
After losing the first two sets, Lehman held Baruch to a 1-1 tie early in the third set. However, the Bearcats went on a 24 to 15 run to take the third set and the match.
Alain Abreu Esteva notched five kills and six digs for the Lightning, while
Ray Rodriguez had four kills, six digs and two blocks.
Amir Pepic also hit for four kills, while
Christian Agudo dished out 14 assists.
Lehman returns to action on Saturday (March 2nd) for a CUNYAC Tri-Match against CCNY and the hosts York College-NY.
