Brooklyn, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's volleyball team dropped five-set CUNYAC heartbreaker (19-25, 25-23, 21-25, 25-23, 12-15) to hosts Brooklyn College at the West Quad Gymnasium on Tuesday evening. The Lightning go to a 7-11 overall record and 4-5 in CUNYAC action, while the Bulldogs improved to an 8-13 mark and 4-6 in conference play.
After each side won two sets, Lehman took a 2-1 lead early the fifth set, however Brooklyn went on a 14 to 10 run to win the match.
Ray Rodriguez (17 kills, 20 digs),
Christian Agudo (47 assists, 15 digs) and
Alain Abreu Esteva (11 kills, 12 digs) pace the Lightning offense as they all posted 'double-doubles' on Tuesday against the Bulldogs.
Almir Pepic also added 15 kills, while
Chris Mata grabbed 11 digs.
Lehman returns to action on Thursday (March 21st) when it hosts Hunter College in a CUNYAC encounter at The APEX Main Gym with first serve set for 6 pm ET.
