Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's volleyball team posted a 3-1 (25-14, 25-6, 22-25, 25-10) CUNYAC victory against visiting Medgar Evers College on Friday evening at The APEX Main Gym. The Lightning go to an 8-12 overall record and 5-6 CUNYAC action, while the Cougars drop to a 0-12 mark and 0-11 in conference play.
After winning the first two sets, Lehman was stunned and dropped the third set to Medgar Evers. The Lightning avoided a fifth set by winning the fourth and the match.
Alain Abreu Esteva led the Lehman offense with 14 kills, while
Emmanuel Oladosu notched five kills.
Joseph Gianfranco Teves and
Ray Rodriguez had four kills each, while Christian Agudeo dished out 24 assists.
The Lightning continue their home-stand at The APEX next Tuesday (March 26th) when they welcome York College-NY in a CUNYAC match-up with first serve set for 7 pm ET.
