Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's volleyball team lost a three-set CUNYAC match (9-25, 18-25, 25-27) to visiting Baruch College on Thursday evening at The APEX Main Gym. The Lightning go to a 9-13 overall record and 6-7 in CUNYAC action, while the Bearcats improved to a 15-6 mark and 12-0 in conference play.
After losing the first two sets, Lehman battled back in the third and took a 25-24 lead over Baruch. However, the Bearcats scored three consecutive points to claim the set and the match.
Ray Rodriguez led the way for the Lightning with seven kills, while
Almir Pepic had six kills and
Christian Agudo dished out 16 assists, while grabbing seven digs.
Lehman will be back in action next Tuesday (April 2nd) when it travels to take on CCNY in a CUNYAC encounter at 7 pm ET.
