New York, N.Y. – The CUNYAC playoff bound Lehman College men's volleyball team defeated hosts CCNY, 3-1 (25-22, 22-25, 25-21, 25-23), in a conference match on Tuesday evening at Nat Holman Gymnasium. The Lightning go to a 10-13 overall record and 7-7 in CUNYAC action, while the Beavers fall to an 8-12 mark and 5-9 in conference play.
After each side claimed a set, Lehman won the next two to secure the fourth seed in the upcoming CUNYAC Championships.
Ray Rodriguez led the Lightning offense with a 'double-double' as he hit 11 kills and grabbed 10 digs, while
Andrew Figueroa notched seven kills and
Neithan Pilay added six kills.
Emmanuel Oladosu had eight services aces, while
Christian Agudo dished out 29 assists with six digs.
Lehman concludes to the regular season when it hosts Bard College, in a non-conference encounter, at The APEX Main Gym with first service set for 7 pm ET.
