New Paltz, N.Y. – The Lehman College baseball team lost a non-conference game, 16-1, to hosts New Paltz on Wednesday at Loren Campbell Field.
The Lightning go to an 0-17 overall record, while the Hawks improved to a 17-10 mark.
The highlight for Lehman came in the second inning of play when third baseman
Lizardo Antigua singled in shortstop
Ryan Rosa to tie the score before New Paltz took the lead in the fourth and then added six runs in the fifth and eight more in the sixth for the victory.
The Lightning return to action on Saturday (April 20th) as they travel to take on CCNY in CUNYAC twin-bill with start time set for noon.
