Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's tennis team dropped a CUNYAC match, 7-0, to visiting Baruch College at The APEX courts on Tuesday.  The Lightning go to a 0-2 overall record and 0-1 in CUNYAC action, while the Bearcats improved to a 3-0 mark and 1-0 in conference play.

The highlight for Lehman was during the #3 doubles action as the team of Stephanie Pena and Fernanda Navarrete lost a 9-7 decision to Baruch's duo of Jacqueline Moreno and Maria Rojas.

The Lightning are back in action on Thursday (September 12th) when they take a short trip to Bronxville, N.Y. to take on Sarah Lawrence College, in a non-conference match-up, with doubles action commencing at 5:30 pm ET.
