New Paltz, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's soccer team lost a 4-0 non-conference decision to hosts SUNY New Paltz at South Turf Field on Saturday. The Lightning go to a 1-6 overall record, while the Hawks improved to a 4-4 mark.
New Paltz opened the scoring seven minutes before halftime with a tally from forward Bryan Lizama.
In the second half, goals by midfielder Kieran Weber (57th) along with forwards Brandon Dhanoolal (66th) and Ryan Zindler (79th) gave the Hawks a 4-0 triumph.
The Lehman highlight was goalkeeper
Andres Barajas as he made eight saves.
The Lightning continue their non-conference road action when they travel to Riverdale section of the Bronx to take on College of Mount Saint Vincent on Thursday (September 26th) at 4 pm ET.
