Box Score Riverdale, N.Y. – Goals by midfielders Cameron Dennis and Adam Kowalski gave the Lehman College men's soccer team a 2-0 shutout victory against hosts College of Mount St. Vincent, in a non-conference encounter, at Marillac Athletic Field on Thursday afternoon.  The Lightning go to a 2-6 overall record, while the Dolphins drop to a 6-2-2 mark.

Kowalski opened the scoring in the 21st minute-mark to give Lehman a 1-0 lead.  The goal also snapped a 206 scoreless streak for the Lightning.

Ten minutes later, Mount St. Vincent was reduced to 10 players after forward Javier Trujillo was ejected when he received his second yellow card.

The Dolphins looked for the equalizer in the second half, however it was the Lightning that got the goal as Dennis tallied with 45 seconds remaining in the match for the 2-0 final.

Lehman goalkeeper Andres Barajas made six saves for his second shutout victory of the season.

The Lightning commence CUNYAC action next Wednesday (October 2nd) when they travel to Randall's Island, N.Y. to take on CCNY with kickoff set for 7 pm ET.
