Annandale-on-Hudson, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's tennis team fell 6-1, in a non-conference match, at Bard College, on Saturday at Bard Tennis Courts.  The Lightning go to a 2-5 overall record, while the Raptors improved to a 3-2 mark.

After the Lehman duo of Viola Avdyli/Caroline Lopez were victorious, 6-4, in #1 doubles action over Hanna Okalava/Isa Santos of Bard, the home side won the remaining two doubles encounters.

The other Lightning highlight was Gabriela Vargas as she defeated the Raptors' Malaya Zabala-Cornejo, 6-3, 6-3, in #3 singles.

Lehman returns to action on Monday (September 23rd) when in visits Brooklyn College in a CUNYAC match-up at 3:30 pm ET.
