Brooklyn, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's tennis team (2-5; 1-1 CUNYAC) trails 4-3, in an unfinished conference match, at Brooklyn College (0-3; 0-0 CUNYAC) that was stopped, and will continue at a later date, because of darkness on Monday at Roosevelt Tennis Courts.
Before it was unplayable due to darkness, Lightning's
Elizabeth Nlemchukwu was trailing, 7-5, 2-1, in #3-singles to Bulldogs' Anabel Greenberg, while in #5 singles,
Amya Sanchez was losing (6-2, 1-0) for Lehman against Rebecca Finney of Brooklyn.
Earlier in the day, the highlight for the Lightning in doubles action was #1-

Gabriela Vargas as they defeated Natalia Urbaez/Sophia Kebadze, 8-1.
In other singles action on Monday, #1-Avdyli easily won 6-1, 6-0 over Urbaez, while #2-Vargas triumphed 6-0, 6-1, against Kebadze.
Lehman will return to action on Wednesday (September 25th) when it hosts Hunter College, in a CUNYAC match-up, at The APEX Tennis Courts with doubles action commencing at 3:30 pm ET.
