Arianna Calderon notched nine kills and eight digs for the Lehman College women's volleyball team, however the hosts dropped a three-set (18-25, 24-26, 13-25) non-conference encounter to College of Mount St. Vincent, on Thursday evening at The APEX Main Gym. The Lightning go to a 3-7 overall record, while the Dolphins improved to a 3-8 mark.
After dropping the first set, Lehman had a 24-23 lead in the second. However, Mount St. Vincent scored three consecutive points to take the second set. The Dolphins then won the third set to claim the match.
Amariah Emanuel-Tyler and
Cheyenne Gray-Taitt added three kills each for the Lightning, while
Ana Mena dished out 15 assists and grabbed eight digs.
Lehman is back in action on Saturday (September 28th) when it visits Purchase College, in a non-conference affair, at noon.
