Staten Island, N.Y. – Both Lehman College (men's and women's) indoor track and field teams competed on Friday at St. Thomas Aquinas Spartan Invitational at Ocean Breeze Park Athletic Complex alongside Division I, II and III sides.

The highlight for the Lightning men was at the 4x200 Meter Relay in which the team of Yusuf Jauneh, Rismond Agyemang, Brian Cruz and Quincy Miller finished in 15th place with a time of 1:39.85.  Charles Howard earned 8.96m (34th) in the Weight Throw event for Lehman, while Brian Cruz got a 9.82m (36th) in the Shot Put.

For the Lightning women, the team of Mariam Konate, Amariah Emanuel-Tyler, Cheyenne Gray-Taitt and Colby Corley took 11th spot in the 4x200 Meter Relay as they clocked in at 2:04.90.

Lehman is back in action next Friday (January 17th) when it participates at the Ramapo College Season Opener at The Armory in upper Manhattan.
