Kai Parris had another 'double-double' (29 points, 12 rebounds) to lead the Lehman College men's basketball team to its fourth consecutive victory as it defeated the hosts Medgar Evers College, 110-73, in a CUNYAC match-up, at the Cougars Cave on Wednesday evening. The Lightning go to a 10-5 overall mark and a perfect 4-0 in conference play, while the Cougars dropped to a 3-12 record and 1-3 in CUNYAC action.
Parris points on Wednesday placed the Bronx native in the Lehman basketball history books as he reached the 1,000-plateu mark (1,010 totals).
Along with Parris, four other players scored in double-figures for the Lightning against the Cougars with center Ndiaye Amar and forward
Brandon Marks each notching 15 each, while guard
Kofi Mends and teammate
Lasana Camara each added 14 points.
Lehman is back in action this Saturday (January 18th) when it hosts CUNYAC rival John Jay College, during Alumni Day, at The APEX Main Gym, with tip-off set for 3 pm ET.
