Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's basketball team's four-game CUNYAC winning streak was snapped by visiting John Jay College on Saturday after a 65-46 result at The APEX Main Gym. The Lightning go an 8-8 overall ledger and 4-1 in conference play, while the Bloodhounds improved their under .500 mark with a 4-12 record and 2-3 in CUNYAC action.
After an 8-8 deadlock with 3:06 remaining in the first quarter, John Jay when on a 20 to 14 run to take a six-point lead (28-22) at the intermission. The Bloodhounds continued to outscore the Lightning in the last two periods 37 to 24 for the victory.

Emily Kennedy led the offense for Lehman scoring 12 points each. Forward
Mush Muniru added a 'double-double' with 11 points and 12 rebounds.
The Lightning will be back in action on Wednesday (January 22nd) when they travel to take on CUNYAC's currently undefeated Hunter College at 5 pm ET.
