Women’s Basketball Drop CUNYAC Match To Baruch

Bronx, N.Y. – Forward Emily Kennedy scored 25 points as the Lehman College women's basketball team dropped its third consecutive CUNYAC game on Friday evening as it lost 82-57 to visiting Baruch College, at The APEX Main Gym.  The Lightning go to an 8-10 overall record and 4-3 in conference play, while the Bearcats improved to an 8-9 mark and 5-2 in CUNYAC action.

After taking a 17-8 advantage at the end of the first quarter, Baruch went on a 25 to 10 run in the second period to reclaim the lead and held on for the victory.

Guard Heaven Figueroa added 13 points for the Lightning.

Lehman is back in action on Tuesday (January 28th) when it hosts CCNY in a CUNYAC match-up at 7 pm ET.
