Bronx, N.Y. – A 'double-double' (10 kills, 13 digs) by
Almir Pepic pace the Lehman College men's volleyball team to a three-set victory (25-21, 29-27, 25-19) against visiting University of Mount St. Vincent, in a non-conference match-up, at The APEX Main Gym, on Wednesday evening. The Lightning go to a 3-0 overall mark, while the Dolphins dropped to an 0-3 record.
After winning the first two sets, Lehman trailed 12-11 in the third against Mount St. Vincent. The Lightning went on a 14 to 7 run to win the set and the match.
Emmanuel Cochran notched 10 kills and six blocks for Lehman, while
Christian Agudo dished out 28 assists and grabbed nine digs.
Ray Rodriguez also added 12 digs.
The Lightning are back in action on Friday (January 31st) when they travel to Phoenixville, Pa. to take on University of Valley Forge, in a non-conference match, with first serve set for 7 pm ET.
