Brooklyn, N.Y. – A 'double-double' (16 points, 12 rebounds) by guard
Heaven Figueroa wasn't enough for the Lehman College women's basketball as it fell 67-46 to hosts Brooklyn College, in a CUNYAC encounter, on Friday evening, at West Quad Center. The Lightning go to a 9-11 overall record and 5-4 in CUNYAC action, while the Bulldogs improved to a 10-10 mark and 6-3 in conference play.
After trailing by 25 points (38-13) at the intermission, Lehman attempted a comeback outscoring Brooklyn in the final two quarters, 16-14 and 17-15, respectively. However, the Bulldogs still head on for the CUNYAC triumph.

Emily Kennedy added 15 points and seven rebounds for the Lightning on Friday evening.
Lehman is back in action on Tuesday (February 4th) when they host Medgar Evers College, in a CUNYAC match-up, at The APEX Main Gym, with tip-off set for 5 pm ET.
