Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's volleyball team dropped a three-set (11-25, 16-25, 22-25) non-conference match to visiting Ramapo College, at The APEX Main Gym. The Lightning go to a 3-11 overall record, while the Roadrunners improved to a 15-5 mark.
After losing the first two sets, Lehman took a 21-20 lead late in the third. However, Ramapo went on a 5 to 1 run to win the set and claim the match.
Alanis Vasquez led the offense for the Lightning with six kills and she grabbed five digs and hit two service aces. Olivia Boothe notched five kills, while Ayah Hamdaoui dished out 11 assists and grabbed eight digs with two aces.
Lehman is back in action in 11 days (October 28th) when it hosts Brooklyn College, in a CUNYAC encounter, at The APEX Main Gym, with first serve set for 5 pm ET.
