The Lehman Cross Country teams traveled out to eastern Long Island to compete in the annual St Joseph's University Invitational.  

Contested at Sunken Meadow Park in Kings Park, the Lehman women placed 16th while the men finished in 15th place.

Malalia Siafa Bangura paced the women's squad completing the 5 K event  in 28:11.5.  Shivani Raghuthu was just 28 seconds behind her.  Rounding out the Lightning team were Amariah Emmanuel-Tyler, CHeyenne GRay-Taitt and Cedia FIndlay.  

Oludemilade Lekam Michael led the men's team.  The junior completed the 8K course in 37:01.6.  Freshman Elian Mota was a minute behind him.  Daniel Raji-Bolaji, Libel Lluveres, Jalen Alverado and Komi Kpedenou rounded out the Lightning runners.  

Lehman will return to Van Cortlandt Park next Sunday to compete in the CUNYAC Championships.
