Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's volleyball team dropped a three-set (18-25, 16-25, 19-25) non-conference home match to Pratt Institute at The APEX Main Gym on Monday evening. The Lightning go to a 2-10 overall record, while the Cannoneers post their first victory of the season and are now have a 1-10 mark.
Lehman took a 13-12 lead in the first set, then Pratt went on 13 to 5 run to win the opening set. The Cannoneers then took the next two sets to win the match.
Alanis Vasquez notched six kills for the Lightning, while Chloe Colon grabbed 14 digs and Vismairely Fernadez dished out six assists.
Lehman will be back in action on Friday (October 10th) when it travels to take on CCNY, in a CUNYAC match, at 6 pm ET.
