Throggs Neck, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 non-conference encounter to hosts Maritime College at Reinhart Field on Tuesday. The Lightning go to an 0-7 overall record, while the Privateers improved to a 4-5 mark.

The only tally of the match came in the opening five minutes as Maritime midfielder Ava Morrill scored off a direct free kick.

The Privateers outshot the Lightning 35 to 13, while the Lehman goalkeeper Katelyn Rice made 11 saves.

The Lightning will be back in action on Thursday (October 9th) when it hosts Purchase College, in a non-conference game, at South Field with kickoff set for 7 pm ET.
