Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's volleyball team posted a three-set CUNYAC win (25-4, 25-17, 33-31) over visiting York College-NY, at The APEX Main Gym, on Saturday.  The Lightning go to a 4-12 overall record and 2-3 in CUNYAC action, while the Cardinals dropped to a 3-15 mark and 1-5 in conference play.

After taking the first two sets, Lehman trailed 20-14 late in the third.  The Lightning went on a 19 to 11 run to win the set and claim the match.

Sahiam Lora notched eight kills for Lehman, while Alanis Vasquez also hit eight kills with nine service aces and digs.  Cheyenne Gray-Taitt had seven kills and eight digs, while Ayah Hamdaoui dished out 26 assists with five kills.

The Lightning will be back in action next Tuesday (November 4th) when it travels to take on John Jay College at 6 pm ET.
