Ronald Snachez posted a 55.18 in the 100 yard back stroke to take the gold medal at the 2025 CUNYAC Swimming Championships which are being contested at the APEX Aquatic Center on the Lehman College campus. Sanchez also earned a silver medal in the 100 butterfly in 53.47.
In the 200 freestyle, Jefferson Tejera (1:49.13) and Roger Sanchez (1:53.41) take home a silver and bronze medal respectively. The relay quartet of Joseph Fernandez, Kenan Suwan, Romulo Valadez and Brahian Rosario-Ortiz earned a bronze medal in the 200 yard medal relay in a time of 2:33.38.
After Day two the Lightning men sit in third place behind Baruch and Brooklyn.
THe Lehman women are in fifth place after the second day of competition.
