New York, N.Y. – The trio of
Emmanuel Cochran,
Almir Pepic and
Ray Rodriguez had seven kills each for the Lehman College men's volleyball team, however, it dropped a 3-1 (31-29, 12-25, 17-25, 16-25) CUNYAC match to hosts Baruch College, at the ARC Arena on Thursday evening. The Lightning go to an 8-2 overall record and 1-2 in CUNYAC action, while the Bearcats improved to a 6-7 mark and 5-0 in conference play.
For the first time since February 20, 2017, Lehman won a set over Baruch as on Thursday evening as it took the opener. However, the Bearcats battled back and won the next three sets to claim the match.
Christian Agudo registered a 'double-double' for the Lightning as he dished out 25 assists and grabbed 11 digs.
Lehman returns to CUNYAC action on Saturday (March 1st) when it hosts CCNY and York College-NY in a tri-match at The APEX Main Gym.
