Kofi Mends scored 13 points off the bench as the Lehman College men's basketball team posted its fifth consecutive victory after topping visiting Medgar Evers College, 58-53, in a CUNYAC encounter, at The APEX Main Gym, on Tuesday evening. The Lightning go to an overall ledger of 15-6 and 9-1 in conference play, while the Cougars dropped to a 5-16 mark and 3-7 in CUNYAC action.
After trailing by five points at the intermission (28-23), Lehman posted a comeback in the second stanza and outscored Medgar Evers, 35 to 25, for the victory.

Lasana Camara and
Kai Parris added 11 points and nine rebounds, each for the Lightning, while guard
Kunal Bagga registered 10 points.
Lehman is back in action on Friday (February 7th) when it hosts York College-NY, in a CUNYAC match-up, at The APEX Main Gym, with tip-off set for 7 pm ET.
