Kai Parris registered another 'double-double' (21 points, 10 rebounds) as he paced the Lehman College men's basketball team to its six consecutive victory after defeating visiting York College-NY, 96-64, in a CUNYAC encounter, on Friday evening, at The APEX Main Gym. The Lightning go to a 16-6 overall ledger and 10-1 in conference play, while the Cardinals dropped to a 3-17 mark and 1-10 in CUNYAC action.
After trailing by one point (11-10) early in the first half, Lehman went on a 29 to 16 run to take a 12-point lead at the intermission. In the second half, the Lightning out scored the Cardinals 57-37 for the victory.
Guard
Kunal Bagga notched 20 points for Lehman, while forwards
Francisco Demers and
Lasana Camara added 12 and 10 points each, respectively.
The Lightning continues CUNYAC play on Wednesday (February 12th) when they visit John Jay College at 8 pm ET.
