Brooklyn, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's volleyball team lost a three-set (17-25, 19-25, 20-25) CUNYAC match to hosts Brooklyn College at the West Quad Center on Tuesday evening. The Lightning go to a 12-6 overall record and 4-6 in CUNYAC action, while the Bulldogs improved to a 9-14 mark and 5-4 in conference play.
After dropping the first two sets, Lehman took an early 3-2 lead over Brooklyn in the third set. However, the Bulldogs went on a 23 to 17 run to win the set and the match.
Emmanuel Cochran led the Lightning offense with eight kills, 12 digs and five blocks, while
Abdoylaye Kante registered seven kills and
John Zerafa dished out 22 assists.
Lehman is back in action on Friday (March 21st) when it hosts Hunter College, in a CUNYAC encounter, at The APEX Main Gym with first serve set for 6 pm ET.
