Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's volleyball team dropped its second consecutive CUNYAC match on Friday as it lost in three-sets (17-25, 16-25, 13-25) to visiting Hunter College, at The APEX Main Gym. The Lightning go to a 12-7 overall record and 4-7 in CUNYAC action, while the Hawks improved to a 15-9 mark and 9-1 in conference play.
After dropping the first two sets, Lehman trailed 8-6 early in the third set. Hunter then went on a 17 to 7 run to win the set and the match.
Ray Rodriguez led the Lightning offense with seven kills and five digs, while Oscar Calderson recorded six kills and
John Zerafa dished out 13 assists.
Lehman is back in action next Tuesday (March 25th) when it travels to a take on York College-NY at 6 pm ET.
