Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College baseball team fell in a non-conference encounter to visiting Saint Elizabeth University, 19-6, at South Field on Wednesday evening. The Lightning go to an 0-10 overall record, while the Eagles improved to a 9-11 mark.
After Saint Elizabeth took an 11-0 lead in the top of third inning, Lehman got on the board with two runs in the bottom half. By the end of the fourth inning, the Eagles increased their advantage to 17-4, before the Lightning added two more runs to make it 17-6 after five innings of action. Saint Elizabeth scored two more times to seal the victory.

Kevin Arias led the Lehman offense with a homer and two RBI, while designated hitter
Juan Maldonado was two-for-three with an RBI and leftfielder
Cristopher Cruz scored a run and drove in another.
The Lightning will attempt to get its first victory since May 9, 2023, when they travel to Trenton, N.J. on Friday (March 28th) to take on CUNYAC rival John Jay College in a twin-bill with first pitch set for noon.
