Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College baseball team dropped a CUNYAC doubleheader to visiting CCNY (13-7, 7-4), at South Field, on Tuesday. The Lightning go to a 1-16 overall record and 0-4 in conference play, while the Beavers improved to a 6-6 mark and 3-1 in CUNYAC action.

Kevin Arias gave Lehman a 1-0 lead early in the twin-bill opener, CCNY scored five times to make it a 5-1 advantage. The Lightning scored twice in the fifth inning to make it 5-3, however the Beavers went on a 10 to 4 run to claim the victory. Rightfielder

Leniel Rivera each scored twice.
In the nightcap, the Lightning once again took an early advantage with a home run, this time by Fermin, however the Beavers scored two times in the second inning, three in the fourth and two more in the sixth to take a 6-1 lead. The Lightning will continue their home-stand at South Field on Thursday (April 17th) when they take on Baruch College, in a CUNYAC twin-bill, at noon.
