Box Score 2 Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College softball team lost twice to Baruch College in a CUNYAC twin-bill (4-0, 4-3), at South Field, on Saturday. The Lightning go to 7-15 overall record and 0-6 in CUNYAC action, while the Bearcats improved to an 11-15 mark and 5-1 in conference play.
In the opener, Baruch's offense came in the first inning when it scored once and in the fifth when it crossed home-plate three times for the victory. The highlight for Lehman was infielder
Jireh Espina who has two hits, while catcher
Elba Gonzalez registered the other hit.
In the nightcap, the Bearcats had a 3-2 lead after six innings of action, before the Lightning tied it (3-3) in the top of the seventh. Baruch notched the game-winning run in the bottom of the seventh for the win. Outfielder
Lizbeth Perez was two-for-three and scored twice two for the Lightning, while infielder
Angelina Perez went one-for-two with a run scored. Gonzalez, outfielder

The Lightning are back in action on Monday (April 21st) when they travel to take on SUNY-Delhi, in a non-conference twin-bill, at 2 pm ET.
