Newburgh, N.Y. – The Lehman College baseball team fell by a score of 21-8 to hosts Mount St. Mary's College-NY, in a non-conference match, at its campus complex, on Wednesday. The Lightning go to an 0-12 overall record, while the Knights improved to an 8-10-1 mark.
Lehman trailed 15-8 after five innings of action, then Mount St. Mary's-NY scored four more times in the six and two more in the seventh for the victory.
Outfielder
Elias Fermin led the Lightning offense as he went two-for-four with a run scored and four RBI, while shortstop
Ryan Rosa crossed home plate twice and drove in two runs.
Lehman will attempt to get its first victory since May 9, 2023, when it hosts a CUNYAC twin-bill at South Field on Saturday (April 5th) against CCNY with first pitch set for noon.
