Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College baseball team lost its regular season home finale to non-conference opponent St. Joseph's University-NY, 15-7, at South Field, on Tuesday. The Lightning go to a 1-23 overall record, while the Bears improved to a 3-23 mark.
Lehman had a 5-3 lead after four innings action, before St. Joseph's-NY scored nine runs in the fifth inning to turn the game around and then go on to post the victory.
First baseman Juan Malonado drove in two runs and scored one for the Lightning, while catcher
Leniel Rivera had two runs and an RBI.
Lehman will conclude regular season action on Thursday with a CUNYAC twin-bill against Baruch College at South Field with first pitch set for 3:30 pm ET.
