Lehman College volleyball player Almir Pepic, has been named CUNYAC Volleyball Player of the week for the week ending April 6, 2025.

Pepic led the Lightning to a pair of victories to end the regular season, a 3-1 win over conference rival CCNY and a 3-2 thriller in the APEX over visiting Bard College. He totaled 24 kills with a hitting percentage of .347, including 16 kills without an error  (.593 hitting percentage) in the win over the Raptors.  He also added 13 digs, five blocks ans a service ace to round out the week.  

The sophomore and his teammates will be back in action on Tuesday night to face the Bloodhounds of John Jay in the opening round of the CUNYAC post-season tournament.  First serve from the Doghouse is slated for 6 PM.  Fans unable to make the trip to Manhattan can follow all of the live action via a free stream or free live stats.
