Lehman College Basketball players Brandon Marks and Kofi Mends have been named to the 2024-25 NABC (National Basketball Coaches Association) Honors Court.
Marks, a senior, started 18 games this past season averaging 6.5 points and 3.8 rebounds per game. The Bronx native is a business major who shot 45% from the field last year. Mends, playing his first season with the Lightning, averaged 9 points and 3.6 rebounds per game. The 6-1 Truman HS graduate is also a Bronx native and a business major.
The NABC Honors Court, includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2024-25 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
"Education is one of the NABC's five core values, and we are proud to recognize the academic accomplishments of these programs and individual student-athletes across our sport," said NABC Executive Director Craig Robinson. "The dedication and hard work of these athletes, along with their coaches and support staff members who prioritize academic success, deserves to be widely celebrated."
