In a field consisting mostly of Division I schools the Lightning held their own at one the areas most respected Cross-Country loops. 

Competing at Van Cortlandt Park for the first-time this season, the Lehman College runners were paced by Oludemilade Lekan Michael.  He completed the 5-mile course in 42.26.7.  He was followed close behind by Linbel Lluveres and Abdoull Harissou.  Rounding out the Lightning squad were Rismond Agyemang, Daniel Raji-Bolaji, Charles Howard and Komi Kpedenou. 
 
On the women's side, Leila Simmons led the way followed by Shivani Raghuthu.  Simmons complete the 5 K women's course in 29:25.0,

Lehman is scheduled to compete at Van Cortlandt Park on tow more occasions this year.  However, next Saturday, the Lightning travel up to Annandale on Hudson to participate in the Bard College Invitational.
