The Lehman College Volleyball dropped a pair of matches this afternoon at Rutgers-Newark.  Competing at the Golden Dome on the Newark campus, the Lightning fell 3-0 to Carin and by the identical 3-0 to hosts Rutgers-Newark.  

In the opener, Lehman dropped the first set 25-6 and fell in sets two and three 25-12.  Cheyenne GrayTaitt paced the Lightning versus the Highlanders with 3 kills.  Ayah Hamdaoui  was credited with five assists and four digs. Garyana Altidor and Laura Pinales were also credited with four digs.  

In the nightcap against Rutgers-Newark, the Lightning fell by scores of 25-14, 25-7, 25-13.  Elainne Rojas Mesa and Alanis Vasquez led the way with a pair of kills apiece. Vasquez also had two aces.  Once again Hamdaoui led the team with six assists.  Amariah Emanuel Tyler led the squad with seven digs.  

Lehman returns to action on Tuesday night as the kick-off CUNYAC play when they host Hunter at 6 PM in the APEX
