Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's volleyball team fell in three sets (14-25, 25-27, 19-25) to visiting College at Old Westbury, in a non-conference match, on Friday evening at The APEX Main Gym. The Lightning go to a 1-9 overall record, while the Panthers improved to a 2-3 mark.

After dropping the first set, Lehman had a 17-10 lead in the second, before Old Westbury went on a 17 to 8 run to win the set. The Panthers then took the third set to capture the match.

Olivia Boothe notched five kills and three service aces for the Lightning, while Ayah Hamdaoui had four kills and 10 digs. Edith Oblitas dished out 15 assists and grabbed six digs, while Garyana Atlidor added six digs and two service aces.

Lehman will aim to snap its current eight-match losing streak when it hosts Medgar Evers College, in a non-conference encounter, at The APEX Main Gym on Monday (September 29th) with first serve set for 6 pm ET.
