Tyrese Conway had 19 points to lead the Lehman College men's basketball team to a 61-52 victory against the hosts Baruch College, in a CUNYAC encounter, at the ARC Arena on Wednesday evening. The Lightning go to a 12-6 overall ledger and a remain perfect in CUNYAC action with a 6-0 mark, while the Bearcats dropped to a 7-11 record this season and 4-3 in conference play.
After Lehman took a 32-24 lead into the intermission, Baruch came back with a 19 to 9 run to take a two-point advantage (43-41) halfway through the second stanza. However, the Lightning answered with a 20 to 9 run to close out half and held on for the victory.
Forwards
Amar Ndiaye (17 points, 11 rebounds) and
Ricardo Dixon (13 points, 14 rebounds) each notched 'double-doubles' for Lehman, while teammate
Tyler Harts added 10 points.
The Lightning are back in action on Friday (January 23rd) when it travels to Brooklyn College, for a CUNYAC encounter, at 7 pm ET.
