Hackettstown, N.J. – Guard Tyrese Conway notched 17 points for the Lehman College men's basketball team as it got back on the winning track after defeating the hosts Centenary University-NJ, 81-52, in a non-conference encounter, at John M. Reeves Student Recreation Center on Saturday. The Lightning improved to a 7-6 overall record, while the Cyclones dropped to a 2-9 mark.
After taking a 12-point lead (38-26) at the intermission, Lehman continued its mark in the second half and outscored Centenary-NJ, 43 to 26 for its eighth victory in the last nine head-to-head meetings since 2002.
Guard Kofi Mends had 12 points with six rebounds for the Lightning, while forward Tyler Harts added 10 points.
Lehman continues its road swing on Wednesday (January 7th) when it travels to Brooklyn to take on Medgar Evers College, in a CUNYAC encounter, at 7 pm ET.
