Riverdale, N.Y. – Despite 15 kills by
Jordan Johnson, the Lehman College men's volleyball team lost a non-conference match 3-1 (17-25, 25-21, 23-25, 24-26) to the hosts University of Mount St. Vincent, at the Peter Jay Sharp Center on Thursday evening. The Lightning go to a 2-7 overall mark, while the Dolphins improved to a 3-5 record.
After dropping the first set, Lehman bounced back and took the second to tie the match at 1-1. However, Mount St. Vincent won the next two sets to claim the match.
Almir Pepic registered seven kills and six digs for the Lightning, while
Nathaniel Matthie dished out 25 assists and grabbed eight digs.
Lehman is back in action next Tuesday (February 17th) when it travels to Brooklyn to take on Pratt Institute in a non-conference encounter at 7 pm ET.
