Jordan Johnson registered nine kills and 11 digs, while
Almir Pepic recorded nine kills, six blocks and five digs to pace the Lehman College men's volleyball team to a 3-1 (25-23, 25-16, 21-25, 25-21) non-conference victory against the hosts Pratt Institute at the ARC Gym on Tuesday evening. The Lightning go to a 3-7 overall ledger, while the Cannoneers dropped to 2-6 mark.
After Lehman took the first two sets, Pratt attempted a comeback by obtaining the third. However, the Lightning claimed the match after winning the fourth set.
Enea Doci also had nine kills for Lehman, while
Oscar Calderon notched eight kills with eight blocks and
Nathaniel Matthie posted a 'double-double' as he dished out 30 assists and grabbed 11 digs.
The Lightning are back in action at The APEX Main Gym on Thursday (February 19th) when it hosts Medgar Ever College, in a CUNYAC match-up, at 5 pm ET and then take on non-conference opponent Yeshiva University at 7 pm ET.
