Men’s Basketball Still Perfect In CUNYAC After Win Over Baruch

Bronx, N.Y. – Forward Amar Ndiaye had 21 points and nine rebounds to pace the CUNYAC Regular Season Champion Lehman College men's basketball team to remain perfect in conference play with an unblemished 13-0 record after posting a 78-68 victory against the visiting Baruch College at The APEX Main Gym on Saturday.  The number one seeded Lightning go to an 18-6 overall ledger, while the Bearcats fall to a 10-14 mark this season and 7-6 in CUNYAC action.

Lehman took a 38-23 lead at the intermission, then Baruch attempted a comeback and despite shooting 63 percent from the field in the second half, the hosts held on for the victory.

Forward Tyler Harts notched 19 points for the Lightning, while teammate Ricardo Dixon added 16 points and seven rebounds.

Lehman will aim to become the first CUNYAC side to finish the regular season undefeated since the 2016-17 campaign (Staten Island, 16-0) when it hosts John Jay College next Tuesday (February 17th) at The APEX Main Gym with tip-off set for 7:30 pm ET.
