Bronx, N.Y. – Guard Sage Fanelli notched 20 points, nine rebounds and seven assists to lead the Lehman College women's basketball team to a 76-61 victory against visiting Baruch College, in a CUNYAC encounter, at The APEX Main Gym on Saturday.  The Lightning improved to a 14-10 overall record and 9-4 in conference play, while the Bearcats dropped to a 10-14 mark and 6-7 in CUNYAC action.

After Baruch took a three-point lead (9-6) midway through the first quarter, Lehman went on 21 to 2 run to take a 16-point advantage and never trailed after that on its way to completing the home-and-away regular season sweep for the first time since the 2017-18 campaign.

Guard Isabela Araujo registered 18 points for the Lightning, while teammates Heaven Figueroa recorded a 'double-double' (15 points, 10 rebounds) and Emily Kennedy added 10 points and nine boards.

The playoff bound Lehman will look to lock in the #3 seed at the upcoming CUNYAC Championships when it hosts John Jay College next Tuesday (February 17th) at The APEX Main Gym with tip-off set for 5:30 pm ET.
