Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's basketball team captured several individual conference accolades during the 2025-26 season, highlighted by Steve Schulman being selected as the CUNYAC Coach of the Year. Forward Amar Ndiaye was named the CUNYAC Player of the Year, while forward Ricardo Dixon and guard Kofi Mends were named to the All-Conference First Team and All-Sportsmanship Team, respectively.

Schulman, who earns his sixth overall CUNYAC Coach of the Year honor ('02, '05, '16, '18, '22, '26), guided the Lightning to their first conference regular-season title since 2022 and seventh overall. Under his leadership, the team currently holds a 19-6 overall record and finished with an unblemished 14-0 mark in CUNYAC action.

Ndiaye captured his first CUNYAC Player of the Year award after appearing in all 25 games with 24 starts. The Harlem, N.Y. native, who was also named Conference Player of the Week twice this season, averaged 11.5 points per game and led CUNYAC with 10.8 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per contest. For his efforts, Ndiaye was also selected to the CUNYAC All-Star First Team.

Dixon claimed his first All-Conference selection after starting all 25 games for the Lightning. The Bronx native was a force in the paint, averaging 12.9 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game.

Mends earned a spot on the CUNYAC All-Sportsmanship Team after appearing in all 25 games with 22 starts during the campaign. The Bronx native contributed significantly to the Lightning's success, averaging 8.6 points and 3.8 rebounds per game.
