Farmingdale, N.Y. – The Lehman College baseball team dropped a non-conference encounter, 21-6, to the hosts Farmingdale State College, on Tuesday evening. The Lightning go an 0-7 mark, while the Rams improved to a 1-1 record.
Lehman took a 2-0 lead after two innings of action, then Farmingdale State quickly got two runs in the third to tie it 2-2. The Rams then scored 19 unanswered runs in the next four innings to take a 21-2 advantage. The Lightning attempted a comeback with four runs in the eighth inning, however the home side held on for the victory.

Carlos Silfa drove in two runs and scored for Lehman, while infielder
Argenis Sanchez was two-for-four with an RBI and outfielders
Brandon Deynes and
Dominic Malandro each drove in a run.
The Lightning will be back in action on Thursday (March 12th) when it travels to Pomona, N.Y. to take on St. Joseph's University-NY in a non-conference encounter at 3 pm ET.
