Almir Pepic posted eight kills for the Lehman College men's volleyball team's however it ended its six-match winning streak as it fell in three sets (13-25, 14-25, 15-25) to hosts Hunter College, in a CUNYAC action, on Tuesday evening at the Sportsplex. The Lightning go to an 8-8 overall and 4-2 in conference play, while the Hawks improved to a 13-5 mark and 3-1 in CUNYAC action.
After dropping the first two sets, Lehman held a 9-8 advantage in the third. However, Hunter went on a 17 to 6 run to win the set and the match.
Enea Doci added four kills for the Lightning, while
Eric Lin dished out 10 assists and
Alain Abreu Esteva grabbed six digs.
Lehman is back in action on Thursday (March 12th) when it travels to New Jersey to take on Rutgers-Newark in a non-conference match at 6 pm ET.
