Bronx, N.Y. – Despite Almir Pepic's seven kills and eight dig performance, the Lehman College men's volleyball team fell in a three-set CUNYAC encounter (21-25, 19-25, 14-25) to visiting Baruch College at The APEX Main Gym on Tuesday evening.  The Lightning go to an 8-9 overall record and 3-3 in conference play, while the Bearcats improved to a 9-7 mark and 5-0 in CUNYAC action.

After dropping the first two sets, Lehman jumped out to an early 5-3 lead in the third.  However, Baruch went on a 22 to 11 run to win the set and the match.

Enea Doci had five kills and three blocks for the Lightning, while Abdoylaye Kante also notched five kills and Eric Lin dished out 14 assists with five digs and three blocks.

Lehman will be back in action on Thursday (March 19th) when it travels to Brooklyn for a non-conference match-up against Medgar Evers College at 6:30 pm ET.
