Jordan Johnson notched five kills with four digs for the Lehman College men's volleyball team however it lost a three-set (12-25, 17-25, 17-25) non-conference match to the hosts Rutgers-Newark at The Golden Dome on Tuesday evening. The Lightning go to a 9-11 overall record, while the Scarlet Raiders improved to a 16-6 mark.
After dropping the first two sets, Lehman jumped out to an early lead (5-4) in the third. However, Rutgers-Newark went on a 21 to 12 run to win the set and the match.
Abdoylaye Kante had four kills and three digs for the Lightning, while
Nathaniel Matthie dished out six assists and grabbed three digs.
Lehman returns to action on Thursday (March 26th) when it travels to face CCNY, in a non-conference match, at 7 pm ET.
